Hakaniemenranta

NOAN won the 3rd prize in the open, international competition for Hakaniemenranta!

The design follows the urban structure of Helsinki old downtown, forming a clear sequence of urban spaces. Dense block structure creates intimate courtyards and pleasant streets with human scale. The new Hakaniemenranta is important recreational urban space in the city and new active meeting place for citizens of all ages.
